UPI AutoPay

UPI AutoPay lets your subscription renew automatically from your UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and most bank apps).

UPI AutoPay lets your subscription renew automatically from your UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and most bank apps).

  1. At checkout choose UPI AutoPay and enter your UPI ID or scan the QR code with your UPI app.
  2. Approve the mandate in your app. The mandate amount is your plan price plus GST; the frequency is monthly or yearly.
  3. Your plan activates immediately after the first payment.

How renewals work

  • Your UPI app sends a pre-debit notification at least 24 hours before each charge, as required by RBI rules. You do not need to do anything.
  • Mandates above the RBI limit for automatic debits without a second factor may require you to approve each charge in your app; your app will prompt you.
  • You can pause or cancel the mandate in your UPI app under AutoPay / Mandates. If you do, the next renewal fails and the failed-payment timeline begins (see Failed payments & read-only mode). Re-subscribe from Billing → Plan to set up a new mandate.

Prefer a card? Choose Card at checkout instead; cards are tokenised by Razorpay under RBI rules and renew automatically.
