Password protection

Starter and above.

1. Open the link → Edit → Password → turn on Require a password.
2. Enter a password (8–64 characters) and an optional hint shown to visitors.
3. Save. Visitors see a password page before the redirect; after entering it correctly they are redirected and are not asked again for 24 hours in that browser.

Tips

• Password protection is a convenience feature for previews and gated offers, not a security control. Do not use it for confidential documents; anyone you share the password with can share it further.
• Passwords are never recorded in analytics or logs. If you forget it, set a new one; we cannot show the old one.
• Password pages are available in English and Hindi, matching the visitor's browser language.
