Events older than the retention are deleted automatically; monthly totals per link, QR code and page are kept forever so lifetime click counts stay correct. If you downgrade, events older than the new retention are deleted on the next nightly run; export first if you need them.
Event quota: each plan includes a number of tracked events per month (Free 1,000 · Starter 10,000 · Pro 100,000 · Business 1,000,000 · Agency 3,000,000). Above the quota, events are still counted in totals but detailed breakdowns are not stored until the month resets or you buy a pack. Links keep redirecting regardless.
